Beaver Truck Centre, a Volvo heavy-truck & Hino medium-duty truck dealership located at 33 Oak Point Highway (1 mile north of Red River College on Route 90), has an immediate need to fill the following position:

NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR

Technologies in use
* Servers = Windows SBS 2003 server, Windows server 2000 & 2008, Alpha Unix server, Linux server
* e-mail = Exchange (part of SBS), Blackberry server (BES), ActiveSync on Exchange (for iPhone)
* Windows XP Pro and Windows 7 Pro desktops & laptops (approximately 65 users)
* Microsoft Office 2003, 2007 & 2010 -- Outlook, Word, Excel, & Internet Explorer
* Anti-virus software = AVG Internet Security 2011
* Fortiguard firewall (by Fortinet)
* NEC Aspire telephone system and internal Wi-Fi network

Duties include:
* Administer & maintain all of the above technologies
* Provide hardware, network & basic application support to users on the above technologies
* Simple hardware fixes, installation & configuration of operating system and application software
* Network security, virus protection and data backup
* Work with external software & hardware providers to fix problems and/or install/configure new functionality.
* Maintain & support printers, photocopiers, fax machines, etc., including ordering supplies
* Reseach, purchase & installation of new equipment
* Occassional evening and weekend work will be required
* Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
* A Minimum of 2 years experience administering a Windows network (servers & PC's)
* Experience using & supporting Outlook, Word, Excel & Internet Explorer
* Self-starter with ability to work with minimum supervision
* Strong analytical & communication skills
* Good interpersonal skills and organizational skills
* Ability to maintain courteous & professional relations with users & vendors/suppliers
* Ability to work well in a team environment
* Experience with any of the following is an asset: Karmak dealer mangement system (Legend & ProfitMaster) Fortiguard firewall advanced Excel -- complex formulas, marcos, & VBA
