Mechanical Estimator

As Estimator, you will analyze customer specifications and prepare accurate quotations. Your keen attention to detail and ability to produce quality, informed estimates are keys to this role.

What you will do
* Serve as first point of contact for customers and prepare quotations for products
* Complete mechanical analyses of customer specifications
* Record sizes, parts, welds, finishes and time requirements in an MS Excel spreadsheet
* Communicate regularly with customers during the manufacturing process
* Coordinate with sales, engineering and manufacturing departments to ensure customer satisfaction

Must haves
* Mechanical Engineering Technology diploma (Red River College or equivalent) an asset
* 3+ years of estimating experience, preferably in the steel industry
* Demonstrated knowledge of custom manufacturing estimates
* Excellent mathematical skills
* Conscientious and methodical work ethic
