Our client a large multi-national manufacturer has an immediate opening for an Assistant Controller -- Financial Reporting. Working closely with the operational accounting group and reporting to the Controller responsibilities include:

• Internal and external financial reporting process including working papers, divisional reporting and final consolidations
• Preparation of a all tax returns and related issues
• Implementing changes to GAAP/IFRS
• Direct involvement with the preparation for and coordination of external audits
• Cash flow management and reporting
• Overall responsibility for Accounts Receivable and invoicing
• Direct supervision and support of your team

To be successful as the Assistant Controller, you will hold a recognized accounting designation (CMA, CA, CGA) and have a minimum of 5 years progressive experience. You have extensive experience with multi-level consolidations, corporate and retail tax, combined with a keen interest and knowledge of reporting requirements. Experience with manufacturing, costing, multi-currency as well as US GAAP is preferred. You have a developmental leadership style and enjoy grooming your team for the next challenge.
